Privacy Policy — PongBrick

1. Overview

PongBrick is an arcade game playable without any account or sign-up. The game itself (scores, progression, lives) runs entirely on your device. The only data leaving your phone is processed by two Google SDKs: Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Play Billing (in-app purchases).

2. Data stored locally on your device

• Game progression: completed levels, stars, best scores, remaining lives and regeneration timer — stored locally (SharedPreferences). Never sent to our servers: we run no game server at all.
• Settings: volume, language, display preferences — stored locally.

This data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data (Android Settings → Apps → PongBrick → Storage → Clear data).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

PongBrick shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK: banners, interstitials and rewarded videos (bonus life). This SDK automatically collects and shares with Google and its advertising partners:

• IP address (used to estimate a coarse, city-level location);
• Device identifiers: Android advertising ID (resettable) and App Set ID;
• App interactions: app launches, ad impressions and clicks, video views;
• Diagnostics: app and SDK performance (launch time, hang rate, energy usage).

Purposes: ad serving and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit (TLS). See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses advertising data.

Consent (GDPR): in the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent platform (Google UMP) is shown at first launch. You can choose non-personalised ads or change your choice at any time from the game's home screen ("Ad privacy" option). You can also reset your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

"Remove ads" purchase: if you buy the ad-removal option, the AdMob SDK no longer serves any ads.

4. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

Purchases (ad removal, bonus packs) are processed exclusively by Google Play. We never see or store any payment data (card number, address, etc.) — Google only sends us an anonymous purchase token used to unlock content on your device. See the Google Play privacy policy.

5. What we do NOT collect

• No account, no name, e-mail or phone number.
• No precise GPS location (the game does not request the location permission).
• No access to contacts, photos, microphone or files.
• No third-party analytics SDK beyond those listed (no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook SDK).

6. Data retention

• Game data: only on your device, under your control.
• AdMob data: retained by Google per its policy (links above); we never access it in identifiable form, only aggregated statistics.

7. Your GDPR rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection (GDPR art. 15-22):

• For local data: clear the app's data or uninstall it.
• For advertising data: change your consent in-game, reset your advertising ID, or exercise your rights directly with Google (myadcenter.google.com).
• For any question or request: sav@jyl-software.com — answer within 30 days.
• Complaint: with the CNIL (cnil.fr, French data protection authority) or your local equivalent.

8. Children

PongBrick targets users aged 13 and over. The app is not designed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data about them (COPPA / GDPR-K). If you identify under-age use without parental consent, please contact us immediately.

9. Security

All Google SDK communications use HTTPS / TLS 1.2+. The game is fully playable offline; no feature requires creating an account.

10. Sub-processors

• Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — ad serving and measurement.
• Google Play Billing (Google) — in-app purchase processing.

11. Changes

This policy may evolve. Any material change is announced in the app changelog at least 30 days before it takes effect. The current version lives at https://www.jyl-software.com/PongBrick/web/privacy.php.
